The seller isn't providing much information to help us date this, but saying it is a CE1000 which would be Japanese. I have had Tokai made acoustics (SIGMAs) with clouding issues, but have never seen anything this extreme. There must have been something goin on with this guitar...

Welcome. And we do need pictures of the guitar front and back. On the Chinese ones there won’t be much helpful information stamped in the cavities. And for convenience, here is the 2012 catalog page with the Chinese LP's.

So the first number is the month. They didn’t seem to have an inventory system where necks would sit for two months. One option besides it being a partscaster is that is was sent back for a repair. Less likely but possible. But unlikely they were originally mated like that. Just my opinion.

Tokais didn't have long tenons. Here is the neck pocket on my old 1981 LS120VVF. It also had a veneer top. You need more pictures.
