I also have just bought a 1964 Gibson Falcon amp and they sound VERY cool through it too. 8) I like this amp so much I sold my 58 Fender Super ....
Cheers,
Rob

Hi!
RE:
If anyone knows of a maker, who screws there neck pickup to the body, rather than the pick guard, please drop me a line.
As far as I know, every Tele has the pickup screwed into the body - never on the pickguard.

Hi,
I have never shipped a guitar to the U.K. before.
I would need your full address and postal code in the U.K. to calculate it. If you could email me that information at:
[email protected]
I would be happy to research it for you.
All the best,
Rob
Good point, but actually I could have, as I got in 27 years ago when they were just a little more than a new one!
I traded a Twin reverb for it (and a Black Face Tremolux that served me for years).
I also have a Fender/Squire "JV" series Strat, that were the first Japanese made Fender 50's...
Hi all,
I have listed my Cherry Burst Love Rock 2001 Limited Edition on Ebay.
As I have two of them, and have just bought an 84 Tokai Goldtop, something has to go!
It's a beauty, collectible and MINT.
With case.

Hi all,

When Peter Greene and Clapton and friends started playing the '50's Les Pauls, they...
Hi again,
Thanks for the info!
I bought this guitar from Japan, and it will be coming home here to Canada to join a pair of MM-2001 Limited Editions, a modified Tokai Tele beastie of some sort, and a Gold Top ALS58V (with the Tokai Bigsby).
It looks like I will have to do a web page on...
HI all!,

I think I got a pretty good deal as well..... however,
The serial number starts with "4" making it a 1984, but I have looked on...
Hi,
I owned one of those once - I regret trading it now! It was a very fine axe and a LOT of fun to play. I did some research (including contacting Mike) and it seems they were indeed made in Korea
Congratulations!

Hey again,
I had to wonder as there are 2 listings that use the term "Custom Shop" on Ebay ... first is a really average looking Tokai Tele:

and the other is a Mikes Music guitar...
Hi
OR WORSE, he got an offer on it and decided to rip the high bidder and not pay the Ebay fees.
That has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 months for guitars. One of them even had the nerve to tell me "he had an offer he couldn't resist" when I emailed him and said "What happened to...
