I have a 1980 Love Rock and recently tried 50 mm and 53mm covers on the stock pick ups and neither fitted...
S-O-O-O I guess I'll have to try the 48mm -please let us know if anyone has had sucess -
I guess I won't have to try the 11/16s (or is that the 48mm expressed in imperial ?)

I know that the flipped p/u magnet is the accepted opinion on Peter Greens out of phase honk but interestingly I've just got off You Tube and in a couple of videos the neck pickup is clearly upside down...

Interestingly they weren't with Baker- I can't remember the drummers name I'm afraid -they was playing in a school playground in Chelsea as a charity gig for a local community project.. I must admit I still hold quite a lot of respect for Moore for doing that - and pulling in his mates to help...

My memory is that Moore swopped his SG for the LP (when he was in Skid Row ?) and further if I remember right it had it's neck broke when the car it was in was hit from behind...

I have a 1980 Inkie- it's great - it makes me want to play.
The neck for me is spot on - quite slim compared to Les Pauls I've played and very smooth.
It's all very subjective of course but don't worry about the quality of the build...
