Anyone tried Seymour Duncan Phat cats?
I've been thinking of getting some humbucker sized P90 for my Love rock. I'd like to get a bit better clean and semiclean tone's and the P90 style pickups seem tempting (Haven't actually _played_ a guitar with P90's before).
Mine (Ls-75Q) does that too. I think it's just the switch giving up... No biggie, happens to other guitars too and it's relatively easy & cheap to remedy.
Well, Finland isn't exactly the cheapest place for guitars :(
Yor also could try this site, though not exacly cheap, they do have the occasional tokais too (alltought right now only one I think). And since they're used you could get a bit better deal.

I had the same problem, it was more prominent when I had thicker strings. Actually thats all it took to get rid of the problem - back to .10 guge strings...
I dunno, I like the look, it reminds me of amber... But I do like flamed maple more, I got the Ls-75q not for the looks (altough I think it looks great), but because of the price, 600 euros. Which compared to the normal 1200 euros was pretty good ;)
I really liked the DSL201 combo I own, it has a relly nice cleans and the distortions are great. The thing has shitloads of gain. It will definately do metal, although it's more like the classic metal sound. But the thing is, the reliability problems are very much real ;( Actually it's a very...
