Hey, just going over some old posts and reading yours I realized the s/n on our guitars are only four digits off. Mine is 081859. I’m theorizing more and more that this was trial or limited run. I sent an email to Tokai yesterday and while I’m hoping for a reply, I’m not holding my breath! 😉

Hi Mazegunner! I’m also looking for info on an odd labeled Cat’s eyes. Mine is a D28-E, a great guitar! So far yours is the only other mention I have come across. I see you are in Denmark, I live in Norway so maybe these guitars were only sold in this part of the world?

Hi everyone! This is my first post here, I just bought my first Tokai guitar and I was hoping to find some info about it. It has a paper label in it that says it's a D-28e, but I can't find any info on that model designation. It's just like a CE-118 as far as I can tell, but with a short saddle...
