This is the first I've ever heard of this. Not to argue, just for my own interest, can you link me any of these discussions?

The early '80s Hard Punchers have the same neck width as the fender B necks, found on Precisions in the late '60s and onwards, replacing the wider C necks that were found erlier. C necks were still available as special orders, though.

I own an identical one, same colour and appointments. Mine's killer, I bet yours is, too. Pretty sure i's an '84 based on the logo. by '85 the H/S shape was more angular. More info here: http://www.tokairegistry.com/tokai-info/tokai-fender.html

Hi, first post to this wonderful forum. I own two great early '80s Hard Punchers, both are bone stock save for a missing knob on one of them. I'm sure this is a long shot as these knobs seem to be known to fall off easily, but just wondering if anyone has a spare, or knows where I could look...
