Where in the world are you based? A chap at the college i went to had a dark green st100. I think he moved to the south of England. Probably around 10-12 years ago.

I haven't opened it up yet. From browsing around I can't see that natural was a colour option for a TE70 in 1983.

Super interesting with the serial number. I have a block logo breezysound which I've just posted on a different thread and the serial number is lower than yours with the earlier logo.
I've had this guitar in my family for years. But I've only really just gotten into telecasters over the last couple of years. I've never been quite sure on the exact model. But I'm thinking TE70 or TTE70. I've not seen another exactly the same.
on reflection it may have even been 36 on the fretboard not 38, sorry the pictures are not fantastic I was quite short on time.
The Guitar is in really great condition and doesn't look to have been played much at all.
