Hey Otto, Nice one! Hadn't been around in awhile. Looks like a later RLG-90 to me also. Only differnce from mine is, wiring channel route is different. Mine's vertical. :) That one has a winged TRC, I noticed RLG-90's, still being featured in the catalogs in 1990.

Some of my best Burny's are RLG-50's.

Nice Sykes model. I'd like to have one but, 1 black custom is enough. A friend of mine I trade with, brought one of those over about 10 years ago. Playd great but, I didn't plug it into an amp. I thought it was neat, that they even copied the Dirty Fingers pickup in the bridge!

If I had to guess, maybe a RLC-60. That's a good weight on that one. I have one, 2-piece mahagony body, about 8.5lb. Very resosnant and lite for a Custom. I think the pickups are possibly L8000, instead of VH1's though.

That early 80's Burny is probably closer to a 50's model, all mahagony, if that's what you wanted to know but, possibly has an ebonised rosewood board. I'm sure they all have good qualities about them but, I prefer the early 80's Burny, personally. :D

I can't tell Mojo? I thought maybe it was 50/09 like on the inlay?

Interesting, you brought Slash up. It does look like that mid 80's Standard he played with a 3-piece top.

You got that right!:D Just from the Gotoh labeled pickups, with Square VH1 stickers. I'd guess at least late 90's, at the oldest. Since, those were used up to the present. Late 80's to mid 90's, I usually see the version 2, VH1's. :D

2002, They had 2-hole TRC then. I have a 2003 with 2-screws. It shows 3 screws in the catalog though. The newer RLG85's I've seen demoed on youtube have 3 screws. Those later VH1's with the big square VH1 sticker on the bottom, I started seeing in the late 90's to the present. That's what my 03'...

Nice case. Is that a Tokai case? The only thing that I could see, that looked like a date, was in manual_3 pic. There's an '02 written underneath where it reads Serial number?

Someone posted one with that TRC for sale. Either here or on mylepaul forum. Can't remember what it was though, mij mic?
