no valve rectifier.... just 4 power amp tubes and 4 pre amp tubes i think im gonn just get a decent set and fire em in and ceck the bias... that shoudl do it.... when u say what colour the valve is when its glowing its like red like its about to blow up!!!!!

i can tell u that the vintage mk 2 pups are excellent i eventually will go for a pick up change but these stock ones are good enuff for what i need them for just now... hanvet had any experience with the mk3s so sorry man

yeah Andy i use the asio4all driver for my guitar rig 2 and i get real good latency with that driver with my soundblaster... but u are right i hear a lot of good things about those delta soundcards.......

math i have the same axe as u but i dont own the LC30 laney amp myself its a freidnd that has one but i could take my axe round to his house and let u know what it thought of the overall sound... but remember we both may not like the sounds that we hear u might be wanting a totally different...

i jsut think that nikel plated surrounds would be a hella lot better then these plastic ones that come stock.... but yeah the dimension could be a prob... i would want ones that screwed straight into tht eexisisting holes..... Dave

Andy i just have a soundbalster audigy 7.1 soundcard so i am presuming tha this is my problem... soundblaters are great for games and stuff but for audio recording i have been told by many ppl that they are no use for these purposes im gonna go out and buy a tube pre amp and see if this solves...

ive just noticed that my neck pickup surround ring is starting to crack just beside one of the screws and also in the center of it to.... i was wandering if it were at all possible to get nickel finished ones instead of plastic as theres no way steel ones are gonna crack.... does anybody know...

there is only one multi effects processor that i really liked and that was the digitech RP21 with the tube preamp ther sounds on it were a lot more authentic to what u get on most of these multi effects things.... i have tried out the Boss gt6 and i really didnt like it at all!!!! to each...
