    What does this mean?

Hi mdvineng - thanks for the suggestion. Sounds like a very reasonable guess to me.

    What does this mean?

Hi 3rdstone, Thanks for your reply - hopefully someone will be able to let me know what the Y stands for . In terms of pics, it will be a few weeks before I can do this - the guitar is at my techs having a few things done to it, and I'm off on holiday for a couple of weeks so will have to wait...

    What does this mean?

Morning all, I hope everyone is good. I’ve just picked up another Goldstar sound - an ST65 in metallic gold. I believe it to be from 1984 based on the serial number - L12308. I know this in itself doesn’t indicate a date but I have an article which says that any numbers which fall within the...

    Help identifying Springy Sound

    Help identifying Springy Sound

    Help identifying Springy Sound

Hi Len, Thanks for responding. Glad to see I was on the right lines anyway. Really doesn't bother me what model it is (50,60, 80 etc), as the thing sounds so good and feels so nice - it puts a bigger smile on my face than many other guitars costing 5 times as much! So, in all probability an...

    Help identifying Springy Sound

Hi All, Fist time poster so please be gentle.. I have just purchased what I believe in part to be a 1980 Springy Sound. I say 'in part' as I'm not sure that the neck is original. I have added the pics to an album in iCloud which hopefully you can access below...
