Really would avoid. Something fishy about these 'chinese guitars' Tokai can't provide much information on them and I just think you can get better quality for the same price. I sent mine back because it was listed as 'seafoam green' but is actually 'powder blue'. It didn't feel very nice either...
Thanks for the reply. Yes I agree with you on it not being made in Japan. Trouble is, there doesn't seem to be much information available with regards to 'new Chinese Tokais'. I guess I'll have to assess the guitar when it turns up. Not bothered if it plays well.
I'm based in the UK and I came across this guitar on eBay, I managed to get it for £210. It hasn't arrived yet but I've noticed that the serial number could possibly be in the wrong place. I know I haven't paid a huge sum of money and to be honest as far as I can tell it looks pretty decent...
