    I change strings quite often, some times once a week. this is my first LP (always fender/strat fashion tuners), so I get easly bored when I have to change strings using that string lock trick :)

    I've ordered the TonePros/Kluson TPKB3L Locking Tuners with chrome top. I expect them to fit in my LS160S without having to make any adjustments. This is what they say: These are for 25/64" holes with screw-on bushings, would work great for putting Klusons cosmetics back on headstocks...

    that will do! I don't thing that's much important, just if you want it to look good. I've seen some that used wood or cardboard. Others also adjust the pole piece height.

    some PU dealers sell them, some luthiers can give you some spare foam, or you can try to get this neopren foam 3mm or 4mm from somewhere else. Some folks put rubber tubing (like in Fender pickups) on the screws themselves to act as spacers, you can do that as well. I can mail you some spare...

    No, don't peel the rubbers off, buy new ones and stick in them the same position as in the Tokai PU....

    yes there is... and the sponge under the pickup serves as a spring...you can screw it clock-wise to lower it down a little.... just like the typicall telecaster neck pickup screwed to the wood.. ok.. :cry:
