    Would an st60 be finished in nitro? The seller claimed nitro but i can’t see any sign of the grain coming through.

    Hi gitaro - welcome to the forum. There is a list of codes on the forum a few weeks ago in one of the threads but I can't find it right now so keep searching. The 10=5 type codes appear to relate to the date of manufacture and typically the control cavity code is similar to the code on the end...

    Thanks for the info Peter - Tokai forum really is a mine of useful information. Absolutely loving this guitar. One thing that interests me is the inlaid logo on the headstock - did they really spend time doing that on all the models?

    Sonic monkeys in there now - fitted by snakeyhips. Great sound and aged just the right amount.

    Someone's handywork with the soldering iron in the body cavity: Possibly mono's though I know Snakeyhips replaced the pickups so it might be his or his luthier's.

    Ah mark (villager) the beauties on your site and your comments on this forum are two of the main reasons I ended up with a Tokai. Now where did you get this guitar from? I really must come up with a name for her.....
