as far as i have seen. all these just look like rosewood and are actually just a dark shaded finish on non-rosewood wood. only the fingerboards on these guitars are actual rosewood. which to me for some reason is actually cooler than if they were real rosewood. the great pretender of sorts...

I think this is bunk. Active is listed on Tokai's own web page as their north american distributor. According to Active they ONLY sell Japan Tokai, NO korean tokai.

a es175 clone is available, it is called the FA70 (or FA70VS for sunburst), mikes music has it in stock. i have also found two japanese stores that can get it, but not in stock.
