I think I want a Tokai ES Guitar and I am looking for a specific model that has a chunky neck. From what I have discovered most seem to have slim 60s neck. I would prefer more of a 58/59 profile. Can anyone advise me what models I should look for? Cheers Jock

I do that with all my Explorers, just balances the guitar a lot better. Makes the neck more comfortable to play. Cheers

Just replacing one now on my Explorer, you will need check, but I think that you will need long shaft ones. I had to make the hole a bit bigger as well. The CTS pot would not get through the small hole. You may want to change the capacitor when you are in there, it was a chepo ceramic that...

You may also want to check the leg length, some pups only come in long and it can cause problems in some guitars that will only accept short. Jock

I am considering one of these and was wondersing what the neck is like, is is slim or thick or inbetween. I have a 60s thin Les Paul and was hoping this would be a thin profile as well. Anyone out there have one? Cheers Jock
