Reborn players & collectors please take note.....

Yes, I did realise about the route only. I did check where the neck & tendon would meet if not 1 piece, as I have had several that are just a route. This is NOT just a route. it is 1 piece. Albiet nit as deep as original gibson for sure, but this might not even be completely Tokai built I suspect.

Burny Super Grade - what would you do?

I would keep it. If it plays & has the neck you like especially. I have one of those up on auction as we speak & are nice guitars.Mine is 81910 & in the same cavity with same inking under the finish in bridge cavity. If yours also has the extremely well laid & pointed fret markers, great neck...

Reborn players & collectors please take note.....

I am sure most scoff @ my strange Tokai GT posting below because of it's strangenest, I tore the guitar down today & made several more strage discoveries. 1st is someone carefully sanded vertical with grain on last fret exactly where a Reborn 50-60-80 etc would be. I placed a high intensnce...

    LC85 or LS150

I feel without dought that Nitro is superiour in the tone department, & I mean all Nitro & not of the sillyness they are doing today, I love it when Nitro sucks into the grain after 20 years & on. .My Nitro 1982 Fullerton 57 RI I had was a wonderment in Strats,,only bettered by my 1976 Fernandes...

Early Tokai GT of strange history...

I thought to add this,, the fret markers are for sure Celluloid, which is strager than heck, Also it makes me wonder about the DiMarzio "Super Distortions, they are of seriouse natural relic..look like they been played 50 years,, not a sand paper gig, but somebody new what they were doing. also...

    Love Rock "Custom Shop"

It is a seriousely nice guitar, solid top. This is the 2nd high quality MIJ Tokai I have seen without seriel #'s. I have the other. Mine was employee built for a collector or himself, all behind the scene,.. as the story goes, hence no seriel #. Also mine has same tuners & fret markers. This...

Early Tokai GT of strange history...

I purchased this Tokai GT some years ago when prices were 1/2 of what they are now, about 4 -5 years ago as a employee built guitar for private use, so therefor no seriel #. Purchased from a trusted to this day 100% seller from Japan. The guitar it self screams quality in playabilty & sonics. I...
