Yes, I did realise about the route only. I did check where the neck & tendon would meet if not 1 piece, as I have had several that are just a route. This is NOT just a route. it is 1 piece. Albiet nit as deep as original gibson for sure, but this might not even be completely Tokai built I suspect.

That would be a Korean Tokai avalible in Canada some time back, maple neck - scarf joint near 3 fret , etc.......TRC also shows this, alot shows this..

I would keep it. If it plays & has the neck you like especially. I have one of those up on auction as we speak & are nice guitars.Mine is 81910 & in the same cavity with same inking under the finish in bridge cavity. If yours also has the extremely well laid & pointed fret markers, great neck...

YES... & I have 100% rating on all highend audio & guitar related buy & sell...I have no dought this is RLG-90..someone give good reason to beware of anydamn thing. I misslead NO ONE....My question was never what model it is.. only the year for verification purpose..I am 99.9% sure it is mid...

This seriel # is located in the bridge pickup cavity. I am not sure how to read it for year of manufacture. any help would greatly be appreciated. J & G

Thanks for the responce. 1980 would concure with what seeler told me..No seriel # does make a fun mystery. Did your 1980 have non-acrylic fret marckers also..?

I thought to add this,, the fret markers are for sure Celluloid, which is strager than heck, Also it makes me wonder about the DiMarzio "Super Distortions, they are of seriouse natural relic..look like they been played 50 years,, not a sand paper gig, but somebody new what they were doing. also...
