Thanks! I posted some photos on the Matsumoku Gallery Forum to see if anyone there has any info on this guitar.

According to this website Raven is a Matsumoku badge,but that is all the info I could find on Raven. It has a worn sticker on the backplate that says Welch's House of Music National City Body is a sandwich construction. Saddles were changed but the originals were in the case [/img]

I got this tele tonite at local story last night. No logo on the headstock but tag on the case says GE6-18 Raven. Any idea who made this or when? According to this website Raven is a Matsumoku badge,but that is all the info I could find on Raven.

It looks like a Hohner HG-430-LP. They were made in Japan in the 70s but I don't know which factory made them.

The tele ships with the Fender black tolex hardshell case. but if you add $100($1450 plus shipping). I will have them ship it in this Fender 1969 reissue case(below). This is my Tokai(top) and a 1968 Fender(bottom) for comparison.

It looks very similar to an Ibanez 2351 circa 1975 like the one on the right below.Maybe it was made in the same factory(Fujigen?).

Biggest problem with the Greco copies is they are very hard to find in the USA.I bought an RG-80 from a dealer in Japan but it got busted in the mail. The Greco 325 and 350 are solid bodies not semi hollow like the Rickenbackers they copy.

I got this Ibanez 2350 yesterday. There is no serial number but I think it is a '74.
