    Any other RG-120 owners around?

As do I. Pic taking tech (of any ilk) is something I lack, unfortunately...

    Any other RG-120 owners around?

By the by and for whatever help this might be to any other RG120 owners - I finally determined that suitably spec'd replacement tuners are Gotohs. And upon inspection/comparison the original tuners would themselves appear (lacking any identifying brand stamp) to in fact be... Gotohs...

    Any other RG-120 owners around?

Just wondering if any RG-120 owners might have experience re a couple of things - I was lucky enough to buy one recently. It looks like I might have to fit some new tuners - I was wondering if any other owners had previously done so and what they might recommend. Also, much as I like both the...

    Electric 12 String Recommendations, Pls?

Thanks for the suggestion, Emiel - I know these are rated, but I'm hoping to get something with a solid body like the 660/12.

    Electric 12 String Recommendations, Pls?

Much as I'm tempted by a Rick 660/12 the price (plus the idiosyncrasies - tuner configuration, dual truss rod adjustment) make me look for solid body alternatives but they're few and far between, certainly in the UK. And as we know even Rick 'style' semis rarely appear on popular auction...

'Should I buy a Chinese TB48 T-bird bass?', he asks...

Howdy! Thanks for that very useful info, sir. I was surprised how chunky the Tokai neck turned out to be myself after trying the Epi standard bolt-on Tbird and the Pro. I've been eying up the newer Epi Classic model (slimmer, fixed neck) but I'll have a look at this Blackbird you recommend. Cheers.

    I bought one, anyway.

'Should I buy a Chinese TB48 T-bird bass?', he asks...

Couldn't think of a better way to put it - I'm wondering if anyone owns one and has direct experience of the model. I can't seem to quell my yearnings for a T-bird bass, but a Gibson is beyond my budget and the preferable of the two Epis - the slimmer necked, fixed neck Pro is undesirably...

NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE Euro-tour

What a player. I was a heavy devotee up until the late 70s but my favourite NY leads are via the first album fuzztones and the 2nd album's (no idea of the gtr but assume it's the Gretsch?) amped up screech.

Does the weight of a guitar influence its sound?

Just wanted to say Thanks for the link, Joop. What always amazes me is how all modern Gibson LPs look so obviously different from the beautiful lines of original LPs - and not just the obvious absence of the old carve - especially noticeable in a vid where the movement displays the whole...

    Bridge post diameter on EG59-70?

Hi Jacco, I was surprised the bridge holes proved to be too big - the Faber site suggests this is the required non Gibson, 'import' type ABR and similarly specifies the smaller diameter holed ABR to be only for Gibsons. As it is, as Reborn Old suggests, and from the looseness of the metric...

    Advice on Fraud pls

Glad to see this is looking up for you - not having any knowledge to add I hesitated to make a post until now, but this is the kind of eBay situation I'm sure we all dread so I can certainly empathise. Thumbs up, Dave.
