    Burny DOB

Are you sure? They do not look like newer China-Burnys, also not like recent mij Burnys.

    Burny vs. tokai

It depends. I Think new japanese Tokais are better than new korean/cinese Burnys. But i think korean/chines Burnys of today are better than the korean Tokais. I think early 80s burnys FLG/RLG are at least equal to early 80 Tokais LS, but cheaper to get nowadays. Cee Yah B.

Is this lovely or have I finally lost it?

I think a Ravelle can be a beautiful guitar. I like the shape. Not as much as a real Les Paul shape, but more than e.g. an explorer-like shape. BUT: the colour is ugly imho, and the drilled pick guard makes it even uglier. And teh black hardware also doesn't make it look better, imho. B.III

    Burny Super Grade

Hi, it seems to be a late 80s/early 90s Burny. Nice guitar, but there are (optically) nicer Burnys from that time. I guess it is a good guitar, but the price seems a little too high, imho. I never had an Edwards Paula in my hands so far, so i can't compare. Bye B.III

    Your expert opinion

Hi, it seems to be a late 80s/early 90s Burny. Similar to my Burny LP Custom copy, with which i am rather happy. Price is not the lowest, but still o.k. if the neck is straight and frets are o.k. Bye B.III

    Burny Les Paul Custom (1983?)

Hi, congrats, very nice Burny. And the (rare) blue color looks rather good, imho. :) Bye b.III

    Hoax?

Jep, i think it is a 90s RLG 60 or RLG90 or like that what usually means: laminated top (flame maple veneer over massive maple), medium tenon, body back two- or threepiece, usually rather good guitars. And very affordable, if you compare quality and price. Features seem to be just as described...

    RLC but what model #?

It is cleaarly a one piece neck because the neck is one piece. ;) The headstock is not one piece, but the headstock is not the neck. One piece headstocks are not too usual at Les Pauls Customs... Also many Standards do have headstock wings ... Bye B.III

    RLC but what model #?

Hi, i do not know which model this beauty is, but i know it is one of the most beautiful LPCs I have ever seen .... Do you sell it? ... just kidding, congrats to this super beautiful Paula! Bye b.III

    Need help identifying new/old Burny.

Headstock (shape, Super Grade logo) could be a 1985 or 86 as well. I have no idea what model, but with a 3 piece back i guess it is none of the top end Burnys. Never mind, my Super Grade also has a 3 piece back and sounds greeeeaaaat! ;) B.II

    burny rlc 80

Hi m4ndr4k3, strange nick. To your questions. I am almost sure your Burny is made in Japan, i guess in the 80s, if the tross rod cover is the original one. To the screw: i do not know which reason it had, and i would not care for that as long as your Burny plays well and sounds well. I can...

    who likes ugly guitars?

Not me. But this Gibbo isn't ugly, it is just abused, mistreat and lampooned to the max. Just like Heidi Klum with shaved off scalp hair, dressed in rags and a false beard ... My 2 cents ... But:: i am happy it is a Gibbo and not a lovely japan axe ... ;) SCNR
