This guitar and the one from the Japanese must be very rare. I?m sure it is from ca. 1982-83 and perhaps among the first ones made by Fujigen factory. As far as I know, the 1979 ones are made by Tokai, 1980-81 made by Terada and from ca. 1982 made by Fujigen. In 1982 there was no VH1 pickups, so...

Yes go for a later model. The best ones are not RLG?s but FLG?s. from 1979 (FLG60) and on a FLG 60 from 1979 are a very nice Tokai made guitar, else FLG?s from 80-82 are fine guitars. The wood, finish and pickups in these guitars are often of a bette quality, than in the later RLG?s. The...
