    LS70 Headstock question

Ah I see. So my LS was not intended for the UK market and may well have been imported from Japan. I know about that time some friends were importing instruments (Fender Japan) from Ishibashi music. Ta!

    LS70 Headstock question

My MIJ 03 LS70f is the non pip version. I have seen LS70's on the web earlier and later with the pip modification. Is the any reason or pattern to this?

    Relic guitars...waste of money?

Erm... isnt that what I said..ie.. "Lets face it. Only guitar players in the audience know what a relic is. " Plus when the audience start eyeing your gear closely...there probebly wondering how much the local fence would give them for it! :D Since I started gigging in the seventies I found...

    Relic guitars...waste of money?

When I first started playing guitar I had no money. I had to buy cheap second hand things with bits missing and many a dent or scratch. The very Idea of going on stage with something that looks like its been set on fire then pushed through a Combine harvester is totally repellent to me. BAD...

    ATE50 / 55

    Tokai Telecaster

Could be a late 90's Korean Squier with some swapped hardware and phoney decals. I have to say though it looks very nice! if it sounds as good as it looks you have a cool guitar there!. Just get the decals changed. Maybe get your own name on there. Country Boy Telecaster Yup!

    Newbie guitarist

The SG custom would probably close at less money, and if you like Les Pauls it would be closer to what you like. I would have it if I could justify another electric!

    just got my tele!

Mind You, the Ate's are a bit mediocre..........But as someone else mentioned get a pro set up, Then get some Kent Armsrong P'ups ant try it then. I can't be as bad as the 80's Fender Tele's. I have '92 Korean Squier which is better than them!
