Ok, so is this always the case? My limited reading made me think that some ST-60s came with U pickups, and that this alone cannot be used to determine which model of Tokai it is.

Ok thanks! Out of curiosity, how are you able to tell it is an ST50? Is it because you are not seeing a centre-seam?
